A Pictureless Post...

Whaaaat??  Yes, you heard me right!  A picture-less post.
In my quest for finding the camera that was relocated by a 2 year old I did find the missing remote... Perhaps when I go looking for the infant finger nail clippers that I had only a few hours ago, I'll find the camera, but until then-- No pictures!  :(

My Birfday was on Saturday, and for my BIRFDAY, my Hubby got us tickets to the Supercross Race in Indy.  We packed up first thing Saturday morning and we were off like a Herd of Turtles for the 5 hour drive. The race didn't start til 7 PM, so we checked into the hotel first thing and took the kids swimming.

A few days before I had bought Kevin and Julia swimming suits because I knew we were going swimming.  Kevin had been wearing his off and on through out the day the few days before and if it wasn't on he was carrying it with him and if it wasn't with him he was looking for it! Who knew 6 bucks could bring so much joy.  The ENTIRE drive Kevin kept saying, "kevin, soup on! Peeze!" "Ma, Kevin soup on, HELP ME!" He was dieing to go swimming in his new Soup!   And boy did we have fun. Kevin and Julia both love the water.

The Races were AWESOME! The Lucas Oil Stadium was packed to the hilt. There were 8 events and Kevin was completey enthralled through 7 of them. About the 5th one he was HUNKY and wanted a hotdog.
Despite the fireworks, loud music, and oodles of motorcycles Julia sacked out in my arms after the 1st event and slept until we got back to the hotel. What a little trooper.

I took a few videos for Tyrel. I knew he would have loved every second of it!  They come to Indy every year so maybe next year you can come and we'll have a double birthday party!

On Sunday morning we went for one last swim before heading for home. Cody and Kevin were playing in the water and another girl jumped in... I think she did a cannon ball, and Kevin yells, 'OH HECK, HOW DO THAT?' It was so stinking funny. There were about 10 people in the pool and everyone was laughing. I think it was the amazement in his voice that made it so funny.

Letting the kids swim before leaving was fabulous! They slept about 4 of the 5 hours it took to get home.
(Oh how I'm longing for hot summer days and lots of time at the lake and the wading pool!)

I think I say, Oh my heck, way too much because Kevin says 'Oh HECK!' for EVERYTHING.

Thanks for all the phone calls, cards, emails, and birthday wishes.

We are headed home on Wednesday for AshLyn and Trevor's wedding.  Kevin is bursting at the seams, he keeps asking to wear his wedding pants because I told him he can wear them when he sees Trevor and he really wants to see Trevor!!

Can't wait to see all your pretty faces! XOXO
