One of my favorite things about February is Valentines. We don't do a traditional valentines day of dinner and exchanging gifts or flowers or anything. Last year I decided to make February more fun. So, I do the 14 days of February to Cody. I haven't taken pictures of everything, but here were 2 of my creations that I was super excited about!
#1 This STUFFED pizza. I should of taken a side view picture as this one does not do the size justice. It was HUGE! Nothing like a stuffed pepperoni, bacon, sausage pizza! It was DELICIOUS!
#2 Were these babies. I've always thought sugar cookies were too much work, but Kevin and I had a great time making these. AND, they were good!!
C-dawg, on Day 4 I am glad you will ALWAYS Be Mine! Love Jessica
The other night we went to the store and found a good price on shoes for Kevin. He was in need big time. When we got home he wanted them on and as soon as they were tied he began running up and down the hall in a run/skip/jump fashion trying out his new kicks. When Cody went to put him to bed he cried and cried when Daddy tried to take his shoes off, so he slept in them. The next day he would NOT take them off for anything. If he was ever doing anything naughty I'd say, "kevin, I'll take your shoes off!" and he'd shape right up. Since then, if he isn't sleeping with his shoes on, they are tucked in bed with him. RIGHT NEXT TO HIS HEAD! Silly boy!
As we were leaving the store Cody grabbed a box of twinkies (GAG ME!) He wanted to introduce Twinkies into Kevin's diet. He had never had one. Sadly, Kevin disappointed Cody big time when he was less then impressed!
This morning as we were walking out the door 20 minutes before church started (that is saying something when church is at 8:30 and we didn't get out of bed til 7:30.) Cody realized we had left the garage door open over night. No big deal right? We live in a nice quite neighborhood in a cul-de-sac that you have to take 6 turns to get too... No such luck. Someone ransacked both cars getting the GPS and my wallet. GRRR...
This is what Cody and Kevin looked like about 20 minutes after the Po-Lice left. Once the police took pictures, followed tracks, talked to some neighbors, there was only about 20 minutes of church left. They did get some awesome foot print pictures, know anyone in our area with size 9 Etnies? Let me know!! :)
On Friday night Cody and I went to a retirement party for the CEO of Service, then Saturday we went to the temple and shopping at the outlets (didn't buy a dang thing :( ) Kevin was paranoid that Daddy was ditching him again and HAS NOT let him OUT of sight today!
Julia is sweet. She loves sleeping on her belly and trying to sit up all by herself. She's done it a few times. We've never seen it!
Kevin is dieing to go to Eli's for the superbowl party.
I started this project last night. I'm 1/2 way done, but I need more green fabric. This is the quilt top for Julia's bed. I'm really excited with how it is turning out! I can't wait! :)
Happy Super Bowl everyone! May your favorite team WHHHHIN!

Sorry to hear about your break in. Hope your party was fun. Ours was deliciously fattening and my team lost, but it was pretty good.
Love the quilt! Totally gorgeous!
Boo to the Super Bowl...my team lost:( Can't believe about your break in that's too bad!
Ditch the twinkies and go for Zingers. Especially the raspberry/coconut ones. They are irresistible.
Thank you so much for the phone call! It was so nice to hear from you! And that pizza looks delicious, I love that it's a heart!
