DON'T YOU DARE CALL AND ASK KEVO ABOUT 'FISH!'

Here's the thing...

We were enjoying breakfast as a family this morning and Fish was very actively swimming.  I let Kevin drop in a few fish flakes and Fish went Crazy and ate them all in just a few seconds. (I hadn't fed him since friday because there were still flakes floating!)

I called my Mom a few hours later and told her we'd gotten a Beta. While I'm talking, I'm watching Fish do some laps.

We get off the phone, I put Kevo down for a nap and I look at Fish again as I walk by the table--

DEAD AS A DOOR NAIL.

NOT EVEN WORTHY OF FISHY CPR, HE WAS TOAST.

Sad Huh?

He had a burial at sewer. It was quick... sad, but quick.

I cleaned out the bowl and hid it in Julia's closet,

so far so good. Kevin hasn't noticed. He will SOON, he loved laying on the kitchen table and admiring his friend.

This is one of those horrible parenting things that no one wants to deal with.

Wish me luck.

On an up note. Kevin decided this morning that going Potty in the Toilet was the Cool thing.

2 hours of shopping and nap time accident free! I think it's cool too!  Call me a happy Mommy.

12 hours, only 1 accident.

Any tips on getting your child to go #2 in the potty? He's not real interested, wait no, he's not interested AT ALL! Today we threw bunny cereal in the toilet so he could do his business on them. He thought it was HILARIOUS, but sat there forEVER, then 2 minutes after getting off he came to tell me, New Unders Mom!
