MEET---
"FISH"
the Beta.
While we were Idaho, we went to the Pet store with Tessa and Lucy. Kevin and Julia LOVED it! They had a great time. Today when I suggested the pet store Kevin yelled, MONKEY eat FISH! On our grand adventure the monkey climbed up on the window sill with a fish in each hand and chowed down on them. Kevin thought it was pretty cool.
While this pet store did not have a monkey, it did NOT disappoint this little man! He loved every second of it. When we were getting ready to leave I saw the Beta's and they were $1.99. I already had the bowl at home, so with some rocks (red, Kevin LOVES red) and a Blue fish (also carefully chosen!) and some fish food, we were on our way home. Kevin was bursting at the seams to see the fish the entire drive.
Once we got home Kevin carefully washed the bowl, rinsed the rocks, filled it up with water and DUMPED the fish in followed by a little spinkle of fish food.
He then spent most of the afternoon laying on the kitchen table admiring his new found friend and everyone that called or came over today was introduced to his buddy "FISH!"

The monkey eating the fish was a bit disturbing. The next day when we got in the car Lucy kept saying "Kevin, Julie, animals". She really misses you guys and wants to see everyone in your family (she calls each of you by name) especially whenever we go over to Mom and Dad's. We can't wait until you come back!
Love the fish! Speaking of your animals, we told someone just the other day about how we babysat Killer for you guys and how I was scared of him. I know, I'm pathetic. I could probably babysit the fish though...maybe!
