-Julia started the big girl crawl yesterday.
-Our front yard now has grass! :) Waiting on the backyard to grow still. Amazing how a little grass makes the yard look 80x better. Now to get rid of all the weeds too!
-Cody has a phone call Monday morning with the director of HD Brazil to talk about job oppertunities. (Gives me butterflies in my belly! I'm excited!)
-Kevin is doing awesome at potty training!
-We were able to go to the temple this week. Thanks to awesome friends who took care of Kevin and Julia. It was wonderful! Cody and I had such a great time. Our goal is to go monthly again now that Julia is older.
-I found a highchair booster seat at a yard sale so Julia gets to eat dinner with us at the table now! She loved it and so did we!
-Julia also moved into the big girl car seat. She was way too tall for the baby one. She LOVES her new car seat.
-When talking to Julia she rolls her eyes. It is stinking funny. Such a girl!
-The last few weeks Kevin's vocabulary has improved greatly. I'm continually amazed with how fast kids learn. The other day he said, "Daddy, DON'T BITE!" then he turned to me and said, "Mommy, Daddy biting me!" I was surprised when he used Bite in 2 different ways. He always wants to know where we are going and why. Anytime I ask him to do something he asks why?
-I went to a rummage sale last Saturday, it was at a highschool. There were 3 rooms, a toy room a clothes room, and a furniture room. We got in line about 6:45. I was number 63, there were a few hundred in line by the time it opened at 8. I spent 52.00 and probably got $250.00 worth of things. I was able to snag Kevin a bike with training wheels.
-Kevin loves his new bike. He has no interest in pedaling it. Instead he holds onto the handle bars and stands with one foot on the seat the other up in the air making motorcycle noises. I fear he has watched too many motorcycle stunt videos and it is only a matter of time before he is pedaling and doing the same thing.
-I recently bought an awesome bookshelf at Goodwill and refinished it. It is now in my kitchen. I LOVE IT!
-I also recently made a Family Home Evening board, which I also LOVE! Once I put the finishing touches on the bookshelf (it needs hardward) I'll take pictures and show you.
-We fly home in 15 days. Kevin wakes up every morning and asks if it is airplane day.
