My Mom, and Dad and Tyrel, Blake, and Jordin will be here in WISCONSIN in
26 HOURS!!!
I'm so excited.
Sadly, I have the crummies. I'm hoping they pass before they arrive and that I'll have swept and mopped before they get here. (I know it doesn't matter and as my Mom has said about 10 other things, don't worry, I'll just do it when I get there! And she would too.)
I had a hair cut this afternoon. As I was cutting her hair I all of a sudden was super shakey, I had to grab a stool to sit on in order to finish it. About 1/2 way through I told her I had to grab something and went in the bathroom, I was dripping sweat, like it was rolling off my face, and my face was a very UNIQUE color of green. Lucky for me the dumpster man came just then and I was able to go outside and talk to him for a minute, when I came back inside I was feeling much better, and was able to finish. But it has come and gone all day today.
I'm crossing my fingers it is nothing more and that the rest of the gang doesn't come down with it.
I also discovered this morning when we got home from getting groceries, Julia's mid section is covered in chichen pox. She had her immunization last week, the doctor had informed us that she could possibly get a mild case in 1 week. Sure enough, we have a mild case. Her midsection is covered with a few on her neck. She had a mild fever this morning as well, but it hasn't slowed her down at all. Sadly, this discovery kept us at home all day.
No worries though, I pulled out Kevin and Julia's swimming pool and filled it up. The water was FREEZING, but they had a ball!
On Thursday is our mutual activity. I'm in the Young Women's Presidency so we go each week with out fail. Cody's stake meetings are on the same night, so when I say we, I mean all 3 of us!
Yesterday as we were in opening exercises, I handed Kevin a hymn book and I said, "it's called a hymn book." He looked at me and said, "it's not ours, it's hims?" I was dieing laughing. It was so funny. The english language is so screwed up!
Kevin sporting Daddy's soccer jersey!
As I had mentioned Julia is standing without holding onto anything.
This is a daily occurence these days. Most mornings we hit the parks and Julia falls asleep on the way home. FILTHY dirty, I lay her in bed and once she wakes up, she gets her lunch and a bath in the sink, so we don't wake brother.
I gave the kids pudding cups the other day. Julia is really good about using her utensils. This was no exception.
Until I left for a minute. She is so funny!
Julia likes walking with the walker. When her brother will let her have a turn.
Julia has also learned to bark like a dog. It is so cute.
Kevin and Julia, and Mommy and Daddy for that matter, experienced their first tornado on Monday.
We had the joys of spending the evening in the basement. Super windy, lots of rain, hail, and the likes. The tornado sirens went off 2 different times. That in itself it nerve racking.
There were 2 seperate tornados. 1 touching down 1 mile from our house. That one did only tree damage, the other landed itself in the town of Eagle (20 or 30 miles from our house) destorying 25 homes and damaging 100s of others. One of the badly damaged is a man who is in our stake. So scary, so humbling. We are very grateful we fared so well. We ended up with a little water in the basement, but other then that, we are safe and happy!

I hope you feel better- and no one else gets it... unless it's something they can't catch. hmmmmm.
I'm glad you guys are doing well- We would love to play sometime soon!
Julia with the pudding all over her face reminds of Jessica when she was little. Jess would do the exact same thing.
