2 nights ago we were watching Saturday Night Live ReRuns!
(One of our favorite past times, Thank you Netflix!)
One of the reruns we watched was the Mom Jeans
(this is not the actual SNL commerical but it is a remake and equally as funny!)
Yesterday C-Dawg granted me permission
(I know I don't need it, but it makes it easier to spend money on myself when he says, "You should go buy these!")
to buy me some skinny jeans!
They have now been dubbed
my
'Mom Jeans!'
Chuck E. Cheese
-We have vowed never to step foot in Chuck E. Cheese in West Allis on a Weekend. EVER.EVER.EVER!!!
Let me describe the evening...
a JILLION people.
1/2 of those Jillion people were parents sitting at tables.
The other 1/2 were unsupervised children playing games...or something more like this-
Stealing tickets out of the machine while someone else was playing the game
OR
running across the skeeball machine and grabbing our balls as we rolled them up and stealing them
OR
begging, 'can you slide your card for me to have a turn next!'
NO CRAZY KID. I BOUGHT THESE FOR MY KID. GIVE ME MY BALL AND MY TICKETS BACK and GET LOST!
GRR... Do you want to ask me if they were bugging me?
I did take one pictures-
FAMILY HOME EVENING
went something like this
we were teaching Kevin about paying tithing.
Cody had 10 dimes and was helping Kevin fill out a tithing slip and telling him why we pay our tithing.
Cody said, "we give 10% to Jesus. You have 10. We give 1 to tithing and you get to keep 9!"
Kevin, "WHY?"
C-"Heavenly Father commanded us to. The money goes towards new books and light bulbs, and leaky roofs."
K- "Oh! Jesus at the church?"
C- using his thumb gesturing upward, "No, he's in heaven!"
K-Looks at the ceiling, "UP THERE!?"
After FHE we had ice cream cones.
(notice my very thin hubby in the back? Yes... he lost 10 lbs in the month of August and continues to lose! Stinker bum!)
This little Princess had her first ER visit on the sabbath.
Here's the run down.
Noonish Cody, Kevin and Julia were wrestling in the living room.
12:15 I walk in Cody's wrestling had turned to laying on the floor and reaching out for Kevin has he ran by.
Julia was laying on Cody's chest and rolled off and landed with her right arm under her.
She went to get up and then laid back down and whimpered a bit.
I picked her up and she screamed at me.
I cuddled her and she fell asleep in my arms but was holding her right arm kind of weird and would not move it.
She slept for 2 hours. Tried moving and woke up screaming.
I took her into the ER
She had nurses maid elbow. (When the elbow pops out of the socket!)
The Dr. was FABULOUS! I could have kissed him!
(On the head of course... in a -thank you for helping my baby feel better- kind of way!)
She was back to her normal self about 2 minutes later!
I love my Cody and my kids.
They are very entertaining.

Love your post my little sweet. It is good to get the updates. Wish your other siblings were as motivated. They probably don't get a bound blog book for their Father's Day. I love mine.... The kids are growing up too fast.. Dad
