These boots are made for walking

Yesterday was Julia's 15 month Birthday!
But since we were going to her well baby check today
I decided to wait til today!

Julia HATED her doctor appointment.
She already doesn't like it if someone aside from her
Mom, Dad or brother try to touch her,
let alone a doctor she only sees every few months.
She screamed bloody murder most of the time we were there.
Poor girl!

She gained a few pounds
putting her at exactly 19 lbs. and the 5%
(we were super happy because she dropped to the 2% at her 1 year check!)
She also grew an inch putting her at 31 inches and the 75% in height.

She is healthy as can be.
BUT, the doctor is giving her 4 weeks to start walking and walking more then 50% of the time.
If she is NOT, she will have to start physical therapy.
Right now she walks a TON during the day IF she is holding onto her baby stroller or walker.
She only walks about 5% of the day by herself not holding onto anything.

Julia is our stubborn child.
Sometimes we call her Tyrel.
(I love you Ty!)
She doesn't do anything if someone tells her to or asks her to. She has to come up with the idea on her own!
But I think she heard the doctor today because she has been practicing ever since we got home.

I went to a HUGE rummage on Saturday and scored big time!
This stroller was one of my finds. Brand new in the box, assembly required!
Julia loves it. Yesterday I peeked into the kitchen and she was kneeling in front of the baby fixing her blanket and talking to her. It was SO CUTE!!!

Our sweet Kevin!

This morning as we were getting into the car to go to the doctor
he started crying.
I asked him what was wrong and he said,
"I not go to the doctor. I not want Julia to get poked!"
The entire time at the doctors office he kept asking questions.
"What are they doing Mom. Julia has owies? Mom, Julia Ok? They not hurt Julia Mom!?"
He was very sweet and very concerned. I love his tender little heart!

We are grateful to have such happy healthy kids!
We know we are truly blessed!!!

She is NOT old enough to do the things you are advertising. I'm sure she just learned to sit up, and I'm sticking with that. 15 months?! Crazy!! She looks so much like Kevin, but a cute girly version of him, not to worry! I miss you guys, but I think I've already told you that... a hundred times now. Enjoy your autumn, I'm already missing that part of WI.

Your kids are adorable! It's funny that Julia is so stubborn, because Rosie is the same way! She is starting to balance on her feet alone. I HATE the crawling stage! I am jealous that is turning to fall there already. I thought it was here, but it is 90 degrees today, so we'll see. Miss you guys:)
