301= HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Today is a great day to have our 301st post!
Happy Halloween
and
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Aunt Tessa!!!!!

A few things worth documenting first.

Julia's first pair of pig tails! YAY!!!
More exciting for Mom, but still awesome.

Kevin flipped off the recliner and got a nice shiner on his forehead when the reclining lever caught him square on the noggin!

Not a super flattering picture of Kevin, but he and Julia had a Halloween/cookie decorating party this week.
He consumed about 20 cookies himself.  Luckily he isn't huge on frosting! :)

Julia, however, was big on the frosting and not so much on the cookie!

A group picture, minus Jack and the Moms!

On to Halloween.
Kevin had several costumes to choose from. He was dead set on being the M&M even though he liked the dragon costume better.
He did NOT want to be a scary dragon.
He told me at least 47 time, "I not want to scare people Mom!"
Then we went trick-or-treating at the library and a little boy was a dinosaur and he realized he could be a nice dragon.
Everytime he put the custome on he'd tell us, 'Ine a nice dragon!'
And when people would say, 'ooooohhh, Scary!'
He'd QUICKLY correct them! 'No, Ine NICE!'

I love family pictures!
Julia still is not feeling well and really wanted to be tucked in bed when we were getting ready to leave.
But she did great. She carried her own trick-or-treat bag the entire time and EVEN said Thank you to one lucky neighbor!

Of course a real life family picture.
You can see how Cody felt about the whole deal!
(Regardless of how he felt, he is so good about doing things to make me happy. Like the night we made 75 halloween shaped sugar cookies together so that they'd be ready for Kevin and his friends. He didn't even complain once! Although when we were done he did say, "that was fun, right?")

Our little Bumble Bee with her favorite person EVER!

After Kevin got his picture of the chair Julia perked up.
She climbed on the chair, took her binkie out and said, CHEESE!

They trick-or-treated to about 20 houses before the were too frozen and tired to go any farther.
Kevin had to hand me his bag between houses cause it was heavy. (He wasn't lieing!)

Our neighborhood is really fun to trick-or-treat in. There are oodles of people out and a good majority of the people sit out front by their fire pits with big bowls of candy.
It was nice to get a little warm up between each house!!!

Well, It's time to get Kevin to bed.
Tomorrow is a busy day of packing and cleaning.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
