Hi!

Hi!
Our camera has at least 50 blog worthy pictures.
BUT, I'm busy right now!
Doing what you ask?
Reading the Hunger Games (for the 2nd time).
It is consuming most of my time.
The rest of the time has been spent feeding my kids and editing our family pictures.
But, most of my time has been reading. Don't worry though, I read 1/2 of the 2nd book today.
I hope to finish it tonight.
So then I just need 2 more days to finish the last book. Then life can return to normal.
What is Normal?
I have no idea!

I thought I'd at least show you some of the pictures I just finished editing.
But, Hang on. I just remembered I need to change Julia's diaper while she is still awake!
(in case you were wondering...I didn't put her down dirty. I had to change a soaked diaper a few too many times in the middle of the night. I just remembered I bought the next size of diaper!  No more of that nonsense!)

On to the pictures.

This first picture really speaks to me.
It says a lot about our life.
We've now been in Wisconsin for 3 1/2 years.
Do you know that when we decided to come Cody promised me we would ONLY be gone for 3 years tops!
No ifs, ands, or buts.
This picture was taken on the lake front.
To me, is shows were we have gone in the last 3.5 years.
For starters, we have doubled in numbers.
We've made a life, a great life, in Wisconsin.
(though we love it here and feel like we are at home, we know we will never truly be home til we are more west!)
We've taken many walks, and many sight seeing trips, and watched many firework shows from this very spot on Lake Michigan.
This is a picture I will forever treasure.

My eyes are awfully squinty (when are they not), but I never get a real smile out of my hubby, so I'll take it!

Can you believe Kevin is almost 3? Me, with a 3 year old. Where has the time gone.
When I'm teaching Young Women's I feel like I was just sitting there hearing the same lessons. And then I start counting. I've been out of Young women's for more then 7 years now. ACK!  It almost stops my heart every time I remember.

Ahh...He is so sweet! And SO full of stories.
His favorite way to start a sentence now is,
"um, I have a question..."
I say OK
and he usually finishes with a statement like,
I want a fire truck cake
or
a story
with lots of ands in it!!

I also love this picture.
I'd love to tell you that I was standing there making out or at least getting a good kiss,
but no. Cody wouldn't even pucker his lips, he just kept saying, I can't hold this pose much longer!
Regardless, I love this picture. It will always remind me of the funny things Cody says and the many many laughs we have together!

JD enjoyed these pictures just as much. I remember him loudly exclaiming once we were finished,
'Good, I'm not much for public kissing!'

This picture wants to be sideways today!
I love the bond Kevin and Cody have together.
They are always in their own world, keeping secrets from Mommy!
(Mostly cause I can't understand them.)
Sometimes Kevin will translate for me, Cody not so much.

I wanted to put a picture of Julia right here, but no can do!
I love her too!
Lots! On Tuesdays and Fridays while Kevin is at school, It's our girl time. She keeps me laughing. She is learning lots. She is doing quite well with her pointing to her body parts and making animal noises. Right now she is obsessed with the meow.
She is growing and with each growth spurt she gets a little more sassy.
But we love her.
She is full of personality and full of determination.
It's not easy to change her mind once she has made it!
---

I Love my family!
I'm glad I'm a Mom.
I'm really glad I'm a wife.
I'm really, really glad I married an awesome guy.
I'm really, really, really glad he endured family pictures once again!

I love that when JD said, "I hate kissing in public," he said it loud enough that everyone in the park heard!!!:)
