WARNING

*PICTURE OVERLOAD*

The first 2 weeks of November we went to Idaho/Las Vegas for Uncle Logan and Aunt Katie's wedding.
We had oodles of fun.

Here is Julia in LV at our condo.
Gramma Lori bought the kids these magnetic drawing boards.
Julia is attached to hers.

LONG ride in the car.
The kids were SOOO GOOD!

Kevin during the long ride.

This was about our total time seeing Cody. :(
Julia did NOT let him out of sight. Nor did she want ANYONE but her Daddy to touch her.

Of course we stopped at the Fire Station, because ANYONE that knows Kevin knows that his Grampa Kevin works at the fire station.

Although, funny story-
We were driving in the car and this was our conversation.
K-Ma, where's Grampa Kevin?
M-He's working at the fire station.
K-Working?
M-Yah, he works at the fire station.
K- Mom, Him NOT working!!!
Kevin thinks it is all fun and games at the fire station, fire truck driving, horn honking fun!
This story is ONLY funny because Cody and Logan often tease Grampa Kevin about his MANY LONG weekends fishing.

Kevin was given permission to honk the horn on the fire truck.
Oh my word, it was loud.  Julia was instantly flat on her stomach on the floor with her head covered. She never cried but she ducked and covered.

The kids loved being able to get in the fire trucks and ambulances.

Playing Peek-A-Boo at the stations!
Thank you Grampa Kevin for the personal tour.

Kevin also got to go out on the drift boat with Uncle Logan and Grampa Kevin.
Cody and Kevin were talking yesterday and this was their conversation-
(looking at a picture of a fishing pole)
C-Do you know what that is?
K-It's a fishing pole, Grampa Kevin have one.
C-Yep, he uses it to catch fish.
K-Yah, Him not very good.

I guess Grampa Kevin should keep up with his long weekends fishing!

Kevin, Julia, and Lucy.
It is so fun getting these guys together. Kevin and Lucy are very much on the same level and they can actually play and talk now.
On one occasion they were both sitting in the back seat of the suburban and they were arguing about weather my Mom's name is Granny or Grandma.
Granny finally intervened and said we can call her WHATEVER we want! :)

Julia got her first haircut from Granny.
But 3rd haircut. It turned out so cute! She's gotten oodles of compliments on it!

Of course being the girl she is, she loved being pampered and she held so still!

We met Tessa and Lucy at the mall for lunch and some inside play time.
Kevin asked me for a ride on the toys. I said NO, as usual.
Then he asked either Aunt Tessa or Granny...
one of them gave in!
He loved it!

Kevin got his birthday presents from Granny and Pa!
This was one of them!
I was very proud of the timely manner I assembled 223 pieces.

After a visit at the flower shop with Gramma Wi, we went to lunch.
(side note, Julia was like a little girl in a candy shop at the flower shop. She LOVED everything. She was ooing and awwwing and touching everything. It was so cute!)
Gramma Wi was squeezing a lime into Kevin's mouth.

Then, Kevin squeezed one in Gramma wi's mouth taking great care to catch all the drips.
It was so sweet!

The flower shop as some great places for photos!
Julia loved the snow.
She looked too cute in her new tu-tu from Granny.
Gramma Wi bought her some matching princess shoes.
She LOVES wearing them. She especially loves the clomping noise her shoes make in the kitchen.

The kids were POOPED by the time we headed home.
They both slept on the airplane.
It was SERIOUSLY the easiest they've ever traveled. (Both ways) I was blessed!

Julia loved watching the DVD player when Kevin was sleeping because then she didn't have to share. :)

Here are my kids tonight. All 3 of em!

Isn't she a doll.

I know this is super long already but...
Julia has started talking a ton this week.
Some of her new words are
-up
-down
-out
-Sit
-ball
-binkie
-apple
-by you
-bite
She now has mastered the animal sounds of
-Shark (thanks to Aunt Shas)
-Elephant
-Dog
-Cat

She has also asked to go potty 3 or 4 times a day the last week. Although nothing has happened she does sit on the toilet for a minutes or so.

Kevin-
He's talking like crazy, asking questions like crazy, and telling stories like crazy.
The other night after reading scriptures he said, My turn!
Then he started reading the scriptures to us...
his version was along this story line.
If we do not read our scriptures and be nice the sharks will come and eat us!
Sharks, I'm serious Mom, Sharks!

Serious is one of his new favorite words.

Today in nursery his nursery leaders brought cupcakes and they had a little Kevin birthday party.
It made his day. You would have thought they had handed him the world.
I'm grateful for such wonderful nursery leaders!!!

AND...
ONE LAST THING!
Happy Happy Birthday J.D. boy!
(My big brother is the big 29! YIKES!)

Julia in her tutu reminds me of Jim Carey in Ace Ventura. Made me laugh for some time. Of course she is much cuter than Ace.
