Wow!

I was informed today via e-mail that my kids would be
kicked out of the will if new pictures were not posted soon.
I'm relieved to know my lack of blogging does not affect my spot in the will!
I'm glad the message was lacking in detail because today I only have pictures of Julia.
Kevin will be happy to know that his inheritance will still be coming even though he is not featured today.

A little update on us.
I started watching a 9 week old baby. I have him three days one week and then four the next.
He is a good little baby and my kids are adjusting well. I was TERRIFIED to find out how the Princess was going to react to such a change in her life. She has surprised me once again and has been very sweet. She wants Aiden to have his binkie in his mouth at ALL times, if it is NOT and she notices she does all she can to help him out.
We are a sight to behold.
I have a 3 year old, an almost 2 year old, and a 9 week old, and I'm getting to where I'm obviously pregnant.
Yes, you should hear the things I hear.
Walking into walmart,
"Oh wow, three's a crowd."
Walking out of the cell phone store,
"Can I get the door for you Mam? Can I get your car door for you?"
Everyone has asked how old they are, how close together they are, and how close the 2 babies will be.
Even the drive thru bank lady was curious.
Long story short... people think we are a circus, and people think I'm a crazy lady!
At least, I'm the happiest crazy lady ever.
You see. I think Aiden was an answer to a prayer.
I'm happy to have him and I'm grateful for the opportunity we have to adjust to 3, while still getting our sleep at night!!!
(Cody has NO idea! The baby comes as he's leaving and is gone before he ever gets home! This whole 3 kid thing could be shocking for him!)

I've been very, very proud of Kevin and Julia. They both seemed to grow up a little more having a brand new baby at home. Julia's whopping 22 L-B-S-, feels more like 32 L-B-S- compared to little Aidens 8 pounds.
Kevin has been a fantastic helper. He has been getting dressed all by himself in the mornings. He is a champ at getting Aiden's binkie in place. He is very good at helping Julia. In fact, in the car last night she was having a bit of a tantrum because I didn't allow her to walk from the store to the car. When she's mad she tries to inflict pain on whoever is closest. Kevin and Julia's car seats are right next to each other. She started scratching, pinching, and hitting Kevin's arm. I turned around and gave her the stink eye and the word. Kevin said in the sweetest voice, "It's okay Mom, she just needs to play for a second!" Sure enough, when he gave no reaction, she was done in literally a second.

Another sweet story. This shows my kids totally opposite behaviors.
The kids have been begging to sleep in the same bed at night. Since we lay by Julia til she falls asleep anyway, we've been letting them. And, we keep letting them because Julia's been staying in her own bed til 5 or so in the morning (LOVELY!) We also took their before bed Milk away and they have BOTH been sleeping tons better. Kevin completely through the night now. Ok, Getting back on track...
I lay between them when they sleep in the same bed. I had just finished reading a story and turned the light off, it had been quite for a few seconds when Kevin said, "Mommy, you're the best Mommy in the whole world, and Daddy, he's my best daddy too!"  Soo sweet, it really brought a tear to my eye. I loved on him for a second, told him I loved him, and then turned my back to him,  (he likes to play with my hair) I close my eyes, and about 30 seconds later a little wet, slobbery, princess tongue licked me from the tip of my nose up to my eyebrows SO fast, I had no time to react. I looked at her and she was laying there as still as can be, not even cracking I smile.  I busted up laughing and in return got a look of, 'Why are you laughing?'

I sure do love these kids!
Julia has mastered Mommy's cell phone (Daddy's too) and managed to call Daddy, Aunt Tessa, and Granny yesterday.  She talked to them for as long as she wanted and then hung up on them.  I found out about them after the fact.  She walked into the kitchen talking and when I answered her she replied with, "Mom, PHONE!" Like, you crazy lady, I'm in the middle of an important conversation here.

She also LOVES coloring. She walks around the house most of the day with a little notebook and pen in hand. She is constantly jotting little notes in her note book. As you can see from the pictures, she can't decide if she's left handed or right handed yet. She's been using both equally. But, she DOES use the correct pen form. Go Julia!

I love my Cody too. He's a hard working man.  He's switching over to online classes only because his travels to Brazil and possible future travels are kind of hurting him in the Bachelor department. Which means he is HOME a lot more with us! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!
I have to let him do homework at night once the kids go to bed. But to have family dinner and scripture study every night together. I LOVE MY FAMILY!!!!!!

Well, my kids have successfully coated and shoed themselves, SO I better run out the door with them!

P.S. PUT MY DANG KIDS BACK IN THE WILL!!!!

I love reading your blog, it's kind of like reading my own life! :) I found that everyone is so nice when they think you're pregnant with your first but as soon as they find out you have other kids the conversation instantly ends!

Your kids are adorable, gotta love their personalities!
