And we've already done so much today!
I've gotten my house cleaning/to do list from the last few weeks completely done.
I figured I'd blog pictures from the last couple of weeks and then start touching up the paint in our dining room!
We've had some pretty lovely weather around these parts. Sunday we were in the mid 80s. After having a picnic on the porch and playing baseball for a few hours as a family we ended with popsicles in the bath tub!
I forget in the summer that my laundry load triples and every day is bath day...if not twice a day. I Love it though! I wouldn't trade it for the long days in side, like today.
Kevin took his turn with the camera. I delted 50 some odd pictures but kept a few master pieces.
On Saturday last week it was another beautiful day in the neighbor hood. Cody and Kevin took Kevin's motorcycle apart (why you ask? Because Kevin wanted to) and then put it back together, minus a few new parts we are still waiting for. After that fun-ness (for them) Cody had to come in to do homework and I had a hair appointment. The kids opted to play ourside still (nothing unusual). Seconds after hearing the water turn on outside Cody ran out to find both kids sitting inside our front planter taking a REAL mud bath! Since the damage was already done, he returned with the camera for these pictures.
The end result, both kids were hosed off and then returned to the bathtub for more popsicles.
For about the last 5 months we've had a crib mattress on our bedroom floor for late night wanderers. After a long talk with the kiddos, and after deciding we better nip this before the baby comes, we put it away on Monday. The kids still make every attempt to get to our room. After several failed attempts Kevin decided he'd go with the closer the better. Not only has the kid been coming in at night. We've also caught him sleep walking on more then one occassion now. Thankfully the last moon walk took place while Cody and I were still awake. I caught Kevin just as he was going out the garage door. I tried talking to him. No response. I picked him up and he immediately laid his head on my shoulder and was fast asleep. Funny yet scary!
After a long stretch of beautiful weather today is April Showers bring May flowers kind of day. Only super windy too.
Yesterday was play group at the park. By 7 AM Kevin was dressed and walking out the door. Play group doesn't start until 10. Between 7 and 9 I found him buckled in his car seat twice. And finally I just hurried myself up and we left at 9. At 12:30 I was dragging my crying children to the car after a day of sunshine, a yummy picnic, Ears full of sand, and lots of running and laughing.
It's especially hard to have a crummy day after that. We started our day with chores. Kevin's getting pretty good. He loves helping. And LOVES getting stickers as a reward.
After having lots of help cleaning the kitchen, folding laundry, cleaning the bathroom, changing sheets, making dinner, and picking up. We got out the tshirt markers and both kids colored on a t shirt.
And for lunch we made home made mini pizzas. They were super easy, super fast, and a big hit.
After stories both kids (and Mommy) were asleep in seconds.
Here's to hoping I can find entertainment for the afternoon too!!!

Hi, sorry to intrude the family blog. I'm trying to gather contact information for the 2001 graduates from Snake River High School so that we can email out 10 year reunion invitations. We seem to be missing Cody's information. If one of you could email me his information at tricia(dot)mar01016(at)gmail(dot)com, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks
Tricia Jones
