I was visiting with a friend and she told me the meanings behind a couple of her kids’ names. One of which wasn’t planned at all, but the meaning of the first name and the meaning of the second name went so well together and was really quite pretty. Curiosity got the best of me and I looked up the meanings behind our names tonight.
They are kind of neat, really funny, but NOT AT ALL pretty as my Friends Daughter’s name is.
Here goes-
Gray- One with gray hair
Cody Robert- Helpful, Bright Fame
Jessica Ann- Rich, God Beholds, Gracious, Merciful, Priceless
Kevin Robert- Handsome, beautiful, Attractive, Bright Fame
Julia Ann- Soft haired, Youthful, Gracious, Merciful, Priceless
Lacey- (The best of all!) From Normandy
On to better things!
As of late little Schmulia (Yes, that’s what she is called 90% of the time around these parts. She can thank her Dad!) has grown to L.O.V.E. singing.
(Who doesn’t love a bouquet of freshly picked weeds!)
She begs me all day LONG to sing with her. Her top two picks. KyCoe God (I am a Child of God) and Teeeeem-ple (I love to see the Temple.
Her least favorite, and if you start singing it she says over and over, “I not like!” is The Wise Man and the Foolish Man.
Here she is singing them both with Kevin. When her and I sing alone she sings a LOT more, but she has a hard time keeping up with Kevin’s pace. (And please do ignore my horrid voice!)
Also, I must tell you before I go!
I’M AN AUNT AGAIN!
YES you heard me right!
Samuel John Anderson entered this world on Friday the 13th at 8 lbs. 12 oz. and 21 1/2 inches long.
I’m so sad I can’t cater to his mother, party with his sister, snuggle with him, and call his Dad, Dilly Willy as much as I’d like to!
Hopefully soon!

Good work babe! I love you and the good things you are teaching your kids. Give them a squeeze from us. Love Dad or G-pa O.
That is the cutest thing ever!! brought tears to my eyes!! give them lots of hugs!!
Those are the two favorites at our house, too. Super cute with them both laying in bed together! Love it!
Cute pics! Great to see those cute kids and read your pasts as always! :)
Those are our two favorites as well. I have been trying to add Love is Spoken here, but Cruz complains every time, moving from 2 to 3 is rough. I love singing with them though, it's so sweet!
