With the other kids on their month birthday I wrote a fabulous post of all the wonderful things they were doing and included a picture from that very day. Even though the post is 17 days late. the pictures were taken on September 18.
At one month Lacey is being LOVED to death by her big sister. She has yet to have a blow out diaper (Wait… she had one for my Mom, but not for me! ) and she has been eating like a champ. We are feeding one bottle a day to keep Lacey used to having a bottle and to allow me a break in the evening. She has been cluster feeding from 6-11 pm. Every hour. Which, I can’t complain because she does then sleep for 4-5 hours! Lacey is very laid back and is good at waiting her turn so that I can take care of my terror or a two year old.
Lacey has two one month pictures. Julia is super good with Lacey and LOVES holding her. She then talks in a high pitch squeaky Mommy voice and tells her everything she loves about her. And when she’s done Julia reminds me that Lacey still needs to get her ears pierced.
A Sunday morning ritual, a cruise around the circle with Daddy on the Moto. No, Lacey did NOT ride but she didn’t want to miss out on the photo op.
The reason I am behind with posting about Lacey’s one month milestone…
Grandma WI and Grandpa KEVIN came to spoil us all rotten!!!!
We ate TONS of yummy food and had TONS of fun showing them a few more things in the WISCO and the kids had TONS of fun getting a new gift every day.
Grandma was pulling things out of her magic suit case left and right.
The kids (and Grandma and Mommy) had a blast decorating cupcakes. They were oh so yummy and OH SO CUTE!
I’m so happy to have these 2 pictures!
This is the ONLY proof we have that Grandpa Kevin came… well, I guess if you needed more proof we could go fish his cell phone out of the bottom of Little Lake Muskego.
Cody, Grandpa and little Kevin were able to go out boating one day and golfing another. Grandma, Julia, Lacey, and I went to the craft store one day and colored Grandma’s hair the other. We couldn’t let Grandma go home with roots. Oh no, that would be horrible!
We had so much fun with Grandma and Grandpa. We were so sad to see them go. Julia keeps saying, “we will see them with the Christmas tree!” We can’t wait for Christmas to come so we can play again!
Remember how I mentioned my terror of a two year old. You wouldn’t believe me if I told you all that we’ve been going through, but believe me when I say, it’s been horrible. (And, that may be a major understatement!)
Despite the high running emotions and not having the ability to make her happy, she is very very sweet with her little sister. I often walk in to find her cuddled up on the couch or bed with her little sister.
Our photographer Julia took these awesome pics.
Julia LOVES painting her own toe nails.
If you look closely you will see my little girl clear at the top of the ladder. NOTE TO SELF, DON”T LEAVE THE LADDER IN THE TREE.
We have LOVED having Daddy home to play with us. We will be so sad to have him back to work full time. This is his last week of paternity leave, we are spending it installing a fireplace in the basement and chopping wood. FUN I TELL YOU, FUN!
She is SO CUTE I could eat her.
I could eat them too. MMM… looking at this picture makes my eye lids heavy. I want to grab this little girl in my arms and do the same thing.
A Before and After of the hair do.
And we can’t forget about this big boy.
He is such a GOOD helper. He wants to know everything and everything ALL THE TIME. (It gets exhausting, he doesn’t settle for just cuz anymore.)
He’s been in Cody’s back pocket the last few weeks. He is so handsome and so caring, and our little peace maker. I LOVE HIM and I could eat him too!
I’m all caught up now. I need to get picture from Tessa and pictures from Ashlynn because I never once got my camera out. We love our families and feel very blessed to have so many visitors and to be able to go and see JD and Ash whenever we wanna.
Ok..
THE END.

Did you forget about the diaper on the way to the Brewers game? Her outfit is in the dumpster in the parking lot!
