The beginning of last week I picked up my niece Madison because her Mom is having pregnancy related problems. She was so much fun to have here. We got crazy looks everywhere we went and people often asked, “Are your kids all one year apart!?” The kids loved having her and they all played so well together. Poor Madison was not used to going, going, going all the time and she crashed hard every afternoon and night.
Aunt Katie sent Lacey this baby for her birthday. She loves her and hauls her everywhere. It’s funny to watch her crawl she has the baby tucked under her arm so she crawls on one hand and on the other elbow. So cute!
We had a rainy day, jammie, Lorax, Popcorn eating party.
Kevin stayed up late to help me make Lacey’s birthday cupcakes. Thank you Aunt Tessa for the idea. They were a hit!!!
We were supposed to get the transmission for the minivan on Friday, it got delayed somewheres and Saturday I was supposed to watch my friends child for most of the afternoon, but when the tranny didn’t show and said child was picked up 20 minutes after drop off, we decided on a whim to paint the dining room. I started by letting the kids help paint for a bit. Once it was out of their system we sent them out to the sandbox to play. The dining room looks so much nicer and much bigger with a nice sand color. I’m in love!
Lacey swinging with her baby.
Lacey was NOT a fan of the frosting. In fact in the video she even gags so we took the top off of her cupcake and she devoured the cake. She’s my cleanest cake eating baby.
And like I said, these two girlies had a blast.
