Especially if you're a napper and church starts at 12:30! My kids were at each others throats at 10:00 this morning. It was lovely out so I made them go outside to play. They sat by the tree and pouted for awhile. Then they climbed the tree. Julia went up last and wasn't ready to come down when Kevin was so he fell out of the tree and came in bawling because Julia was so rude for "making me have to fall out of the tree to get down." The 40 minutes they were out there, one or the other came in every two or three minutes crying. I threatened naps and they were both chipper til church time. Then they turned into needy little beasts. Wowza!!! Lacey finally passed out 20 minutes before church was over. I was holding her when suddenly I over heated and nearly died. (Thank you pregnancy!) we made a quick exit and sat in the car to wait for the crew. Upon returning home Kevin cried for ever because Julia got her Jammie's on first and called herself "the winner!" We finally fed them, (which was not an easy task,) Julia spent most of dinner in her room screaming and I finally spoon fed her her dinner. Really?! Come on!!!! As soon as dinner was over we pulled out Toy Story which was purchased for Christmas and everyone (minus Lacey, she pooped out at 5 and went to bed) laid down to eat popcorn and watch. The second it was over we had prayers and the kids have now been sleeping for a good hour!!!! That is why Sundays are hard. I've been anticipating 8:30 church in January, but with us moving, we may never experience such joy. We shall see!
This is all quite trivial though. A dear friend lost her father today and there was a shooting in a neighboring city where three were killed and four injured. I'm grateful for knowledge of My Savior Jesus Christ, for the atonement, which can provide great comfort and for the knowledge of life after death. We are blessed and we know it!!!

Our church is at 10 and since we are the only ward it never changes. I love it. It is not so early that I can get ready easily enough to be on time, but it is early enough we still can have naps at home afterward. Perfect.
