Beach babes

This morning Lacey picked up Julia's super Julia cape and said, "Julia super Julia?" I said yes, do you want a cape? And she gave me the sweetest smiled and jumped up and yelled YES! So we whipped out a quick super Lacey cape and she took off running as fast as she could. I had to bribe her later to get her to take it off at the beach. The second she woke up from her nap we out it back on. She loves it and it makes my heart happy.

The kids loved the beach. The water was freezing! But I had to remind them several times that we were not there to swim. Lacey sat on the edge of the blanket and dug in the sand, covering her and i completely. I shook our blanket off several times and relocated her with her shovel and bucket, but she preferred the edge of the blanket, so I gave up.

It was a fun day with my little crazies.
I love them and I'm blessed to have them and I know it.
