I don't know what happened. I brought Elena home from the hospital and then she was three months old and double her birth weight. Everywhere we go we hear, "she looks just like her Dad." You can only imagine how much her Dad loves to hear those words. We are often asked, "does she ever cry?" And, the answer is no. Unless of course your big brother jumps out from behind the door with a rarrr, then she will scream and cry and sob and then demand a bottle and go to bed, Elena has found her sweet voice and is getting quite good at telling stories. She is mighty ticklish and gives some funny belly laughs. She is smiley and loves eye contact. She knows her Mamas voice and perks up whenever she hears it. And on her three month birthday she found her thumb and it melted my heart. I was taken back to Kevin at this age finding his thumb. It was so fun to watch and I won't be mad at all if she sticks with it. Elena spends her afternoons at the beach just as content as can be covered in her car seat listening to the adventures going on around her. She really is a good sport about hauling the bg kids to and fro. We are blessed to have Elena as the babe in our family. She is just what we needed.
