Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween!

This picture just sums it up perfectly! We had a rather rainy Halloween. Some were happier than others. This was the first year in 5 years that we didn’t host a kid’s Halloween party or a Chili Halloween Dinner. It was quite sad, but we still had fun. We weren’t quite sure what to expect for Halloween here and on the night of the rain came, and came, and came some more. Our neighbor let us in on the goodness that is the nursing home and we enjoyed dinner at McDonalds up the street before meeting some of the cutest people ever and getting our bags filled all the while sipping on Apple Cider, eating cookies, and being at a very comfortable temperature. It was beautiful. We saved the best house for last and went Trick-or-Treating at the Temples. Sister Temple and Sheri did not disappoint. We had pizza and chicken, popcorn balls and sugar cookie, and MORE than enough candy. We stayed much to late and had way to much fun. Although very different, it will go down in the books as a success!
