October in a Nutshell

October was filled with pretty sunrises, beautiful fall leaves, a few motorcycle rides with my one and only, we enjoyed gorgeous sunsets over the lake, water leaking into our house, great friends that helped us roof, pumpkin carving, church parties, school parades, we fished for Crawdads, Cody did a Furness repair, we dressed up, ate candy, played at the playground, Kevin grew a deep love for Minecraft, Elena turned 18 months and started nursery, Julia learned to jump rope, Lacey tried and tried and tried, and on the last day, Cody drove my fifth baby into the house and parked her safely in his office for the winter. (Sad day!) It's always so sad to see October go. It is a month I cherish. One thing we must remember, we were blessed beyond measure.
