The day was sneaking by and I'm glad I checked the date before it was too late...
JuJu Bean is 8 MONTHS OLD
AAAAAKKKK!!
She's growing up way TOOO fast!
Julia has a recent obsession with her tongue. If she isn't already playing with it and you kiss her she will play with it for a LONG time. It is very cute. She is trying to master the clicking of the tongue. She gets it every once in awhile, but she's no pro... YET!
We had a snow day at the beginning of this week. We were stuck in the house all day. By the time the day was over I had used the snow blower on 5 different occassions and Cody had used it once. We were in a TRUE winter wonderland. It was so beautiful and peaceful. We loved our day locked in watching movies, eating treats, and snuggling with the babies.
On this particular day I also got my craft on. Fabric flowers are the new thing so I gave them a whirl. Julia ended up with 6 or so hair bows, this fancy shirt and a Valentines Day shirt!
This is what Julia looks like today, Crazy hair and all! Or should I say LOOKED like. She currently HATES Pears. I tried feeding her some, she gags until she either gets them out of her mouth or she throws up. (I just figured out tonight that this behavior is directly linked to pears.) Luckily we got by on just a gag tonight. However, she was still hungry so I got her some carrots. She WOULD not eat them for me, so Kevin starts feeding her and she ate like a champ. Although I think my ceiling fan, along with the 3 of us, is completely covered in carrots. Yummmmm-y!
Today was a big day at our house. Not only did the Princess turn 8 months old, our new carpet was also installed. AhhH! If you look at the first picture of Julia you can see our lovely BLUE carpet. If you look behind this sweet smile, you can see our pretty Friza!
Due to the fact we had to be home while the installers were at our house, Kevin, Julia, and I spent 3 straight hours in the kitchen watching the letter factory, playing games, and cuddling. As soon as the installers left Kevin went on a rampage running from room to room to inspect. It is OH soo comfy and smells OH so nice!
A funny--
When we were bonding in the kitchen this morning I had Ju in the exercauser. She was bouncing like a maniac then all of a sudden her head falls over and she was sleeping. She's never done this before. It was super funny. I wish I'd have thought to grab the camera.
-Julia has finally mastered getting up on her hands and knees although she goes nowhere. (Kevin had already mastered crawling by now, but wasn't sitting on his own.)
-She has turned into a tummy sleeper
-She is going to bed at 7 and sleeping til nearly 6AM. (LOVE IT!)
-She loves hugs. When you pick her up she wants to be held close and she'll lay her head on your shoulder.
-She thinks that EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING Kevin is doing is down right HILARIOUS! (even if he is bonking her or pushing her.)
Due to the fact I'm now covered in regurgitated carrots...
I'M OUT!
