FAVORITE Daughter-in-law EVER!

So, many moons ago. Like a few months after Julia was born, we were driving in the car and we were talking about girl hair-dos. Yes, we talk about that!

I was telling Cody how one of my brothers prefers short... the shorter the sexier in his mind.

The other prefers long and not just long, but thick.

(Go ahead and guess, I bet you can figure out which said which!)

Cody went into this huge spill about how he didn't understand why they were so picky.

In Cody's brain, hair to the collar bone and straight with light blonde highlights was his perfect girly hair do!

(In my brain I thought... as if your request isn't rather PICKY!)

MIND YOU-

I had just had Julia and I had my hair WHACKED into a SHORT SHORT SHORT A-LINE and died DARK browny/red.

Secretly over the last 15 months I have been growing and growing and growing.

I'm proud to let you all know my hair has finally reached my collar bones (first time since I was 3)

and how are these for light blonde highlights.

Cody has mentioned several times the last few months that my hair was getting long. I just kept saying...

I know, can you believe it... crazy eh?

A week or so ago I finally broke down and refreshed his memory of our little convo.

Just as a side note. He has NO idea what he likes in a girl...

he married me with SHORT dark hair!

Although I am very happy about this accomplishment. This is the longest my hair has been since I've been old enough to do it myself... but enough about me.

Grampa Kevin wants to see his grand kids!

Julia Ann is my little climber.

And, I am happy to report that as of YESTERDAY Julia can be added to the walking club!

I've mentioned before that if we try to get her to walk she gets mad.

Screaming, arching back, ya know!

Well, yesterday I was on the computer and her comes my little girl walking down the hall way. She only walked one time today because I kept trying to get her to show off. We went to a friends and the same thing. She came walking down the hall way. It is funny because she is VERY sturdy on her feet. She just didn't want to do it because I wanted her to.

She also had 2 new teeth come in this week! Putting her at 6!

We walked and LONG hot WALK.

I wish now that I had video taped this, but he fell asleep chewing gum and sitting up. It was so sweet.

No worries. I took Julia out of the front and we let him sleep the rest of the way.
