Today is Kevin's first day of school!
Yesterday in Preparation for the first day, we went to the dentist.
Kevin was awesome.
He had everyone laughing and he sat SO STILL!
He loved every second of it.
In his picture he wanted me to make sure I got a picture of his teeth!
I am so excited for Kevin. He has an awesome teacher and he was really happy when I dropped him off.
He had his backpack, a water bottle, a treat for snack time, and his BRAND NEW PENCIL!!!
Life for him really could not get any better!!
Kevin is so eager to learn right now (as are all kids this age!)
It just totally amazes me the things he absorbs.
We stopped at the post office to mail my Dad's birthday card.
Because the parking lot was full by the post office we had to park in front of another building.
When we got back into the car Kevin pointed at the building and said,
"Mom, is that the cake making center?"
I repeated him and he said,
"Ya, Mom, where they make cakes!"
Yesterday we passed a cement truck he didn't know what it was and so I told him.
He asked me what they do.
I told him the stuff inside makes driveways and sidewalks.
This morning on the way to school we saw another,
He said,
"Look Ma, a cement truck. The stuff inside makes driveways!"
They are sponges!
And will you succeed?
Yes! You will, indeed!

(This is Dr. Suess' best book! I LOVE reading it to Kevin. Two sweet boys I used to babysit gave it to me when I graduated cosmetology school. It has been my ALL TIME FAVORITE BOOK SINCE!)

Big boy!! Did you cry? I didn't with Addie, but she was SOOOOO ready. Max may be another story, we'll see tomorrow!! Enjoy your special time with Julia, it's the best!
