I know we've been to Idaho because I have heard Kevin say,
"Home again, Home again, Jiggity Jig!" every time we pull into the drive way,
Just as my Mom does every time she pulls into the driveway.
He has also called Julia, "Yoho!" A dozen or so times just as Grampa Kevin did when we were there.
Kevin has also asked at least 10 times, why we we can't live by Salt Lake City.
That is where we always fly into, so he knows that we need to be close to there to get to see our families.
This year we had Christmas at the cabin.
We were all spoiled rotten.
Kevin loves his "noculers."
Uncle Logan built Kevin this awesome tunnel!
Grandma Wi had oodles and ooldes of crafts for the kids.
They loved it!
Kevin loves doing "projects," as he calls them.
It was really nice that we were able to see our families 2 times in 2 months!
Julia remembered everyone and was a LOT less clingy and a TON more fun.
For Christmas I made us all matching jammies.
Cody was NOT happy about having to wear them. He kept telling me that "everyone will make fun of us!"\
Later he admitted that he was sorry, BUT surprised that everyone liked them!
You can't see, but on every one's right leg it says GRAY.
Uncle Trev and Aunt Ash
Uncle Logan and Aunt Katie
Aunt Shasta made this ADORABLE hate for Julia. She loves it and it looks OH so Cute on her.
We missed you guys!
Uncle Trev and Aunt Ash gave Kevo this soccer jersey with a soccer ball.
I took his soccer ball to play group the other day, when we got there he wanted to know where his jersey was. I told him I didn't bring it and he said, "I can't play very good then!"
Some of the highlights of our time with the Grays.
-We were able to go to Baby Trevor's grave. We can't wait to go again when it is a TAD bit warmer. Kevin wants to take an airplane to leave there.
-The kids went bowling for their first time. Kevin loved it and bowled an AWESOME 93!!!
-Kevin and Julia LOVED making projects with Grandma Wi.
-Kevin got to see Grampa Kevin's chickens and the neighbors turkeys.
-We ate LOTS of good food.
-And of course we must add playing scattergories
-And the kids loved riding on the snowmobiles out of the cabin. (on the way in was nightmareish for Julia)
Thanks for all the fun times Grandma and Grandpa Gray.
When we went to get groceries this week. I found this little beauty on sale for 1/2 price. I saw it before Christmas, but wasn't willing to pay asking price for it.
I am super excited about it. Julia has tons of great toys but aside from her stroller and baby, there isn't anything that she really LOVES to play with that holds her attention for awhile.
As soon as I got this put together (it said 15 pieces on the box. I didn't realize that meant 150,000 pieces until assembled!) the kids did each others hair for awhile. Then when Kevin lost interest Julia sat in front of the mirror making kissy faces at herself.
She'll bring me hair things several times during the day to put in her hair. After they are in she will say to me, "MIRROR?"
As in should I go look? :)
It also came with a bunch of accessories including a blower dryer that really blows, lipstick, a flat iron, and a cell phone. She loves to sit on the chair and do her own hair while talking on the phone.
Ahh! I love it!
I must go fulfil some motherly duties.
I'll post the Oborn Christmas pictures next!
