Oborn Christmas

I was terrible about taking pictures at my parent's house this year.
This is ALL of them, except 2 that I can't get to load right now.

For whatever reason, we didn't get a FULL shot of the whole nativity scene.
But, Kevin was Joseph and he rocked it :)

Once the kings; Cody, my Mom, and I walked in and sat the presents in front of 'mary and joseph' Mary immediately dropped the baby and both of them dove for the presents.
I finally opened a package of candies to give to them to get through the rest of the story.

Just after we opened the presents the wrestling began.  This is a common occurrence at my parents house. The grandkids took on Granny, and JD and TY took on each other.

JD would not let go and TY would not give in.
Not going to lie, this was the first time I was worried someone was going to pass out.

We don't have many pictures because we were too busy having fun.
We played lots of games. Watched a few movies. Talked lots, laughed lots, and ate lots and LOTS!

Thanks Mom and Dad for the hospitality.
We had SO MUCH FUN!
Cody and I both felt like this was the BEST Christmas home so far.
(I think it helped MUCHO that our kids are adapting better and Julia still remembered everyone!)

Now... my next post.
New Years Resolutions.
Cody and I decided to start ours February 1st!
(we only need 11 months! HA!)

Oh and before I go.
Julia.
Let me tell you about her.
I wish we could come home next week too.
NONE of you will believe the Vocabulary she has developed over the last 10 days. HOLY COW!
She talks up a storm.
A few things I heard just today.
-Give me bell.
-Look Mom, My Ball.
-My Mommy, my Daddy work.
-No, my cell phone.
-Where Daddy?
Then we had this convo in the car.
I was trying to keep her awake to go to a friends house for a birthday lunch.
In the car I had a stack of Christmas presents from some friends the kids still hadn't opened, so I handed her one.
She opened it. (it was a game with a bunch of pieces)
Ju-Ohhhh!  Thanks! Open Mom!  OPen!
Mom- I can't. When we get home.
Ju-Peeze Mom, OPEN NOW!
Mom-No, when we get home.
Ju-Peeeeze.
Mom- no.
Ju-Por favor?

(if the kids ask Cody for something and say PLEASE, he wont do it.  As soon as they say Por favor he jumps right too. I think Julia expected that from me!)
