It had been forecasted for the last week that this ginormo storm was coming through the Wisco.
And boy, oh boy was it ginormo.
The winds were out of control, which was really the worst part, causing drifts about 4 feet high in some parts of our yard.
Here's the C-Dawg first thing this morning. Minutes after receiving an email from work saying that since every road way in the area was closed, Harley would indeed be closing today as well.
The wind was still pretty fierce this morning so the kids didn't get to go help as much as they wanted to.
But tonight we took them out for about an hour. They were in SNOW Heaven!
Check out our gnarly drift on the top of the house.
Julia EVEN put on her mittens, making for a MUCH better snow experience. In this picture she is doing the monkey dance. SUPER CUTE!
Daddy and Kevin crashed in the snow. They were able to lay on the surface, but when walking they were up to Daddy's waist and over Kev's head.
This part was NICE and crusty and Kevin could climb up and down it.
There's something magical about a snow day, even when you're 24 and 28!
Our road did not get a snow plow until just before 3 PM today. So, it really was a full blown snow day, we weren't going anywhere.
Glad I could spend it with my 3 favorites.
