DENVER

Due to loving parents, the kids and I had a chance to go to Colorado last week.
We stayed the first 2 days with our BFFs that ditched us here in the freezing wisco for the nice sunny days in Denver. I totally spaced getting the camera out. It's been over a year since we've seen them and it was as if we'd (the kids included) had partied last night. We all had a great time.  Thanks to the Grips (Marci) for having us and driving us around the mile high city!

The kids were Purrrrr-fect on the flight there. The flight home, that's another story, lets not go there!
(I LOVE super awesome flight attendants! On the way there the kids got free tv and catered to like there would be no tomorrow! I could of planted a big juicy one on our sweet grandpa flight attendant who KNEW what flying kids were all about!)

(clearly my new computer has out smarted me again! I can NOT for the life of me figure out how to get my pictures turned and kept that way! Grr!)

Granny and Julia
Funny story, One of the days MY grandpa called Julia, Julie, and she quickly replied, Ju-Ah!  It was hilarious. Luckily I was the only one paying close enough attention. I nearly died laughing *inside of course!

Kevin was SO excited to see LUCY (and everyone else!). Everytime they talk on the phone one of them ends up inviting the other over to play. They don't get the distance thing. Lucy, Kevin, and Julia played so well together. It is really fun to see them interact.

On the windy-est and coldest day of our trip we went to the Denver Aquarium. Super cool!

My super awesome Aunt Charlotte, my Grandma, and Jordin.

Granny, Aunt Tessa, and Julia.
Aunt Tessa is oober prego. She looks so cute. She's a bean pole with a basketball.

When paying to get in an additional charge was added to pet and feed the sting rays. We didn't pay it, but at the end of our trip Kevin and I walked up to see them and a lady next to us handed us a fish to feed them and they swam right up to us and we were able to pet them. They are squishy and weird.
My Aunt Charlotte has better pictures. When I get em, I'll post em!

This here shark. Double click on the pic. He's creepy and his teeth are showing. Seconds after snapping this picture Julia turned around a gave a little scream as she was face to face with this beast.

Granny with the same shark. Only I caught the tail end, and you can't see him too good.

Julia was tired and hungry, but she liked it too!

Julia also picked up the word, "Gosh" in Denver. I heard her say it about 100 times a day. Always appropriately used too. Once Kevin bumped her, once she dropped something, and once I told her to do something. All which resulted in a breathy Gosh!

And the last of the last.
Tonight for Family Home Evening we had a lesson on having bodys like Heavenly Father and about how Heavenly Father made us all different on purpose.
At dinner tonight we were talking about playing on the toys at the mall and Kevin told Cody about the brown kids that were speaking spanish. And he's asked a few other times about Brown kids and people with black skin and why. I hope it was well received. Lately with our FHE lessons we've been doing a coloring sheet and then hanging it on the door so we can look at them through the week and talk about them. During Kevin's prayer he said, Heavenly Father, please bless that I'll be able to teach my Dad how to do projects good, and how to use scissors and glue. and make them nice.
I was Busting a gut. Oh my word. It was hilarious. When the prayer was over Cody had this hurt/astonished look on his face which made it all the funnier!

Oh--- now this is really the last. 7 days til the big gender reveal... whatchya think?
We are thinking boy.
