I have a lot of crap (read as -stuff!- I say crap too often, my kids say it too.) to do before Baby Lacey comes.
None of which are super important, but all of which I’d like to have done before she comes. I can check one thing off of the list however. All FOUR of our scrapbooks are up to date. It puts a HUGE ol Smile on my face and 4 HUGE ol check marks on my to do list.
But since I’m finding myself pooped at napped time and beyond exhausted at the end of the day, the check marks aren’t coming as fast as I’d hoped. Oh well!!!
I just cleared some picture off of my iphone. I thought I’d share a “FEW” of them…really, this is just a few, I promise.
My new favorite hair-do. Super easy and makes me feel less bad when my hair is ending up in a pony tail more often then not.
Now that all of my tulips, crocuses, and some other unknown flowers are dead, I planted my flower bed. I need to take a NEW picture though, since this one was taken 10 days ago, my rose bush has flourished and is popping with red and pink roses. SO PRETTY!!!
Last week I took the kids to the beach for 1/2 the day. These pictures do a good job of showing you how BLASTED hot it was. When we were headed home my car said 105 degrees. It was hot and yucky, but I had to drag my sad children away. They love water.
Correction---- Kevin LOVES water. Julia, loves water, just not lake water that has seaweed and sand in it.
A picture of Julia’s backidans.
Julia had to sleep with all of em, including Puppy. Puppy will never be left out.
Cake Pop.
Aunt Shas sent these Mater Suckers to Julia for her birthday. Cody looks mighty fine with Mater teeth.
When Cody and I were painting our house a few weeks ago, we were talking about how smart ‘we’ were to have Kevin and Julia so close together. They play SO well together. It is LOVELY. Then, we realized, “WE” had nothing to do with it. Neither of them were planned, but “WE” are grateful for a plan far bigger then our own. We feel so blessed to have these 2 little munchkins in our family.
Our neighbor was out mowing their lawn the other day and Kevin and Julia laid next to the truck to observe. It was so cute watching them talk, laugh, and point at things together.
Julia’s birthday breakfast at her new table.
Julia at her 2 year old Doctor’s appointment. I love this little girl with lots of spunk.
She is OBSESSED with shoes and Loves all things girly.
One of my roses.
I love where we live. There are so many options for entertainment on rainy days. Today being one of those days, we packed up early and headed to Kids in Motion. It is an indoor play place. The center of the building has a ginormous McDonald’s type toy (but clean) and then surrounding that are 10 different little rooms, each with a different theme, construction, plumbing, dress up, shopping, art, science, games… you name it, they have it.
This is Kevin and Julia’s favorite room. We were there for 4 hours today, 3 of those were spent in this room. And, for the first time ever, Julia played with strangers, in a room that I was not in, for longer then 20 seconds. It was a big day for her. I was so proud of her and she had so much fun. So much fun that she came home and slept for 3.5 hours. (SHE’S NEVER DONE THAT, EVER!)
Kevin also had a blast. He is very good about taking care of his little sister. He’s also a peace maker, when someone would take or fight for his truck or shovel, he’d hand them over and find a new one. I’m very proud of this big boy. He is getting so big and asks so many HARD questions! He keeps me on my toes.
Our kids wake up tooo BLASTED early in the morning. Julia is consistently between 4:45 and 5:15 AM, Kevin is between 5:45 and 6:15. Most mornings Cody and I try to buy a few more winks by handing over our cell phones. They can lay by us and watch a movie or play games and we can sleep for a bit longer. This morning however, Kevin wanted to take pictures together. It was worth losing the sleep. He LOVED it!
As of late, Julia will nap the first hour in her own bed, then comes out and naps a little longer on the couch. Sooo sweet.
And, as of late, this is the ward robe of choice. No clothes, but she must have a pretty in her hair and some shoes! This was what I looked like for the Harley-Davidson Black and Blue Ball. (27 Weeks)
Julia swings like a big girl now, and will do it for hours. Be prepared to leave the park with a crying child. She wants to swing ALL DAY LONG. “HIGH, No MOM, HIGHER!!!!!”
(Take note of these cute little curls!)
The kids usually go and get in bed with each other in the middle of the night. They both loves snuggling.
This little boy of mine LOVES, LOVES,
LOVES
Powder Donuts! He ate an entire package on his own in one day. (Yes, I let him!)
Julia has the cutest curls in her hair and they are always a little awry after naps.
And this bad boy. I can’t remember if I posted a picture or not, but I found it on the side of the road… I’M in LOVE!!!!
Sorry for yet another picture overload.

I love your posts. Just an FYI (not to be critical just to be helpful) your family picture on the top shows up too big so you can't see the whole fam. If you delete the pic then before you upload it again click on the box that says shrink to fit (it isn't there after the picture is uploaded)then it will fit better.
I didn't even know you were expecting again Jess!!! Congrats!!
Oh and I love all the cuteness your little family has towards each other!!! LOVE it!!!
