Picking Strawberries at the Strawberry farm.
Julia ate as many as Kevin and I picked.
Early morning play dates at the park. Kevin slept until go time. I had to stop at the store and he quietly reminded me as we were getting ready to leave,
“Mom, I am kind of hungry!”
Oops. Forgot to feed my kid. He lucked out with a gatorade and some fudge striped cookies. Breakfast of Champions I tell you.
The best $8.40 I’ve ever spent. I am jealous, I was sweating to death and really wanted to take a turn. However, I don’t think Lacey would have been too fond of the ride.
Julia does NOT like the fact that Kevin gets to have is belly show and she does not. She has her suit off in .2 seconds. You’d think she’d learn, she has to go inside once this happens.
A trip to the zoo. And a ride on the train.
The butterfly exhibit.
Super fun!!! There were hundreds of butterflies flying EVERYWHERE! The were not a bit afraid to land on us either.
Kevin told me all about each of the butterflies.
They landed in our hair and on our clothes.
It hasn’t been that long since we were at the zoo, but there were quite a few new things for us to see. Like this boat.
It is sweltering out and this little misters are a life saver at the zoo.
The kids were happy and soaked by the time we left.
Julia begged me to do her hair, but I was getting dinner ready. So she begged, and begged, and BEGGED Kevin, but he wasn’t in the mood. But when Daddy walked in the door he got right to work. She was super happy and I couldn’t NOT take pictures of this sweet bonding time.
Her hair has never looked so good.
And incase you were all wondering. I had to take a test to renew my cosmetology license this year. The first time I’ve taken a test in 6 years, almost exactly. I got a 40/45. I’m pretty happy!
That’s all! Good night!

I'm impressed! Looks like you guys are finding ways to beat the heat. This humidity is killing me this year, I don't know how you are doing it prego!!
Your family is adorable!
