Be careful, you may wet your pants…consider yourself warned!!!

Last night Cody and I were sitting in the living room. It was just a few minutes after 10, Kevin and Julia had been asleep for a few hours and Lacey had just fallen asleep on my lap. Cody and I were talking when I heard the fridge door fling open. I asked Cody to check on the kid in the fridge. As Cody walks around the wall to enter the kitchen he stops dead in his tracks. Turns around with his hand over his mouth and he is BUSTING a gut. And he says, “His little bum, all I see is a little bum!” He went on to tell me that Kevin was draped over the shelves in the fridge taking a leak!  YES, YOU HEARD ME!  TAKING A LEAK in the FRIDGE!!!!! Cody continued to watch the events unfold from the edge of the wall. About a minute later (he had a full bladder) he swung the door shut, so hard that we could hear all of the condiments rattling. Then he meandered back to bed. Cody followed behind. The second his head hit the pillow it was slow even breathing.

Needless to say, all of my veggies are gone. Some how he managed to hit the wall of the fridge just so that he completely filled my veggie drawer.  And now when you open my fridge door there is a nice, semi overwhelming, smell of bleach and a lovely sparkle!

Kevin has NO idea it ever happened. NOR will he know about it until he is a little older. The sweet boy is very tender hearted, some day he will think it is hilarious… today is not that day.

Ahhh… the laughs we have had in the last 12 hours… my abs have had a good work out.

I really have oodles of things I should be doing right now other then blogging. But that story is one for the records and could not be forgotten. And since I’m here, here are some pictures to show you what we’ve been doing. I’ve been pretty busy since we got home from Idaho and still haven’t blogged our Christmas pictures… maybe over the weekend…

On Monday I decided to remodel my kitchen. I’d been throwing the idea around for awhile, but I decided to kick it in the pants and get going.

Here is a before of the cupboards *the peeps are watching our new popcorn popper work its magic. Thanks Katie and Logan, we LOVE it and have used it LOTS!*

The left is an in the middle shot. The doors are down and the primer is done and the first coat of paint is drying. The right picture is an after door with the distressing done and the clear coat on. There are 21 doors and 3 drawers needing finished. I am hoping to have them completely done and drying early next week. Then I’ll move onto the counter top. *more pictures to come*

For Christmas Julia received an abundance of makeup. She ALWAYS has her pink purse full of makeup where ever we go. It keeps her entertained all day long.

For Christmas Cody’s parents got us a surround sound system. We picked it out at best buy here so that we wouldn’t have to figure out a way to get it home. Kevin and Julia enjoyed front row seats the a super cool theatre.

Aunt Shasta made the girls matching dresses for Christmas. They looked oh so cute on Sunday and they both had several compliments.

Sunday evening we walked in to this…

and finally this. The little girl did it. She has gotten the rolling from the back to the belly down. She only rolls to her right side, but she doesn’t care, cause she can get where she wants to be. I love watching my kids achieve new things. Most times, I have the hardest time keeping my tears in check.

My Mom made the kids these buckets for Christmas. The lids have padding on them. Kevin and Julia LOVE them, and I love Lacey’s for her. It fits all of our baby toys in it just perfectly and it super convenient to grab them when we are going with just a few of their favorite toys.

This picture is a little blurry. But the morning we were leaving to the airport I hit my bicep (it’s huge! Get’s in the way!) on the cupboard at my Mom’s house. It hurt like the dickens, I received ABSOLUTLY NO SYMPATHY, and I was near tears. The pain was almost as intense as when I broke 2 of my toes. I had to take a picture (this is 3 days old) to send to my Mom and Ty so that they would feel a little bad for me. (It worked!)

Every morning I have a smooth-y with almonds, oatmeal, peanut butter, yogurt, bananas, and ice. I can NOT get my kids to taste it. This morning, I added spinach to the mix (the only surviving veggie because I was in a hurry yesterday and it went on the top shelf of the fridge!) and so the smoothy was green. Kevin and Julia LOVED them!  For whatever reason, because my children had had a serving of fruit and veggies before 9 am, I felt like I had conquered the world!

Ignore the disaster above my shoulders. This is how Lacey and I cleared the snow off the driveway yesterday. She was a great helper with the snow-blower.

WELP! School is almost over and I didn’t get near enough done as usual!!!  Until next time! XOXO!

I love you post! One of my boys, who shall remain nameless, did the exact same thing to the Playstation. He opened the lid and proceeded to empty his bladder, shut the lid and went back to bed. We laughed about it for a long time. He now thinks it's funny, but didn't for a while.

Josh got a pretty good laugh out of sweet little Kevin's creative pottying. The cabinet door looks great. Can't wait to see it all done.
