Dashing through the Snow!

Oh hi! This is me blogging from my new iPad from my awesome hubby, SANTA must have had a heads up because he gave me a lovely keyboard for my blogging pleasure. It would be AWFUL to get up and walk to the kitchen to blog from my desk top. Plus, this is more fun, right?

On Christmas Eve, our friends the Linford's, came over to fill our family hungry hole. We started our evening with sledding. Lacey Baby and I went down the hill just seconds after arriving and after that she kept saying, "no, no, no!" Every time we asked her if she wanted to go again. I think she had fun, but near the end, to avoid running into Julia I had to dig my heals into the ground which resulted in snow spray in the face for both of us. She was completely content swinging in the swings with Isaac, which was a perfect view to watch everyone else sledding. Kevin, Julia, and Olivia were old pros by the end. Carrying their own sleds back to the top and running and jumping on just as quick as they could to glide to the bottom. Cody and Eric even got a few runs in, although Cody spent most of his time making Kevin and Julia tough by throwing a sled full of snow on them on their way down. The last run down the hill was Sarah and I. It was worth a good laugh, Especially when we both tipped over backwards at the bottom.
