Christmas Warm up!

 

Eeek! Can you believe it’s already Christmas Eve? We just finished decorating Paper Christmas Tree’s with M&Ms! We have friends coming to go sledding and for dinner and a service project after naps. The kids have been asking since about 8:30 how much longer until nap time! We are on the final stretch to lunch time. Kevin helped me make a Cherry Pie this morning, Julia ran errands with Cody, Kevin cleaned the living room and both kids help set the table. Lacey, she helped with everything. Including eating a few glue covered M&Ms off of her Christmas Tree. YUMMY!!!! We’ve sung Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer no less than 20 times and wore out our Christmas Pandora. They are so anxious and excited and it makes me giddy!!! I CAN’T WAIT FOR SANTA TO COME!!!!

Yesterday we attempted a family picture before church. We struck out big time. But Oh well! The memory of the funny pictures is worth it!!!  And sadly, our most favorite camera in the entire world that is over 10 years old now is meeting the end of it’s life. (Which doesn’t help the photo ops!)

This morning’s breakfast, each kid picked what they wanted. Kevin picked oatmeal with ice cream, Julia Banana and Grapes, Lacey Blueberries and cheerios. Once they saw Kevin devouring his ice cream on his oatmeal and they had eaten their food they finished up breakfast with a scoop of ice cream too! YUM!

This morning as they were getting dressed I told them to put on Christmas clothes. Julia picked her most favorite white shirt with a brown undershirt. That she has told EVERYONE that the undershirt is very immodest so she needed to put the white shirt on top! (Glad she is learning something!) Lacey, well she doesn’t care what she wears, but Kevin, a red spider man shirt was as good as it got as far as Christmas colors go! So much for his cute plaid shirt in his closet. I can’t win when it comes to clothes for him! 

They opted for pictures on the fireplace next to Christopher Pop-in-kins. He has been the funnest, cutest, sneakiest little guy in town!  We’ve loved having him in our home!!!!
