And here is proof!
Julia's prayer on Saturday morning after Cody returned from New Hampshire. "Thank you that Daddy is home so that we can be like a family." Doesn't that ooze love. Cody and my eyes popped open at the same time and we made eye contact as Julia continued her prayer about how much she loves her Dad. Seriously so sweet!
Cody turned the BIG 3-0 on the 18th. When I asked him today how it felt he said, OLD and SLOW! :) we kicked off Cody's birthday the night before with a night out with some friends. We started with dinner at Burger King, a drive through a campground covered in a bajillion lights, letters to Santa and wrapped up the evening with frozen yogurt. Yum! Cody didn't start work til 10 on his birthday so we started our day with Breakfast Burritos with a candle in it. The kids gave him his presents, which he LOVED. I would have given him my present but he found it last week and opened it and his it from me. Rebel! And of course we wrapped up the evening with Oatmeal Pie. He's a pie boy! I think he had a pretty good day. We did! We love celebrating our Dad. We are so lucky to have him.
We love you Dad! We are blessed and we know it!
