5 and 15 months

Kevin had his 5 year check up on Friday and Lacey had her 15 month.

(You never know when breaking and entering may come in handy!  Teaching Kevin how to get in the basement in the event we are ever locked out again!)

We learned at the doctors office that Kevin can NOT, I repeat CAN NOT roll his tongue like a hot dog bun. It was quite entertaining trying to teach him. Other than that unfortunate news, The doctor said Kevin is as healthy as can be!
He weighed in at 41 lbs. which was the 50% and he was 50% tall too! (I can't remember his height and the paper is out in the car!)

Lacey baby tried so hard to be brave at the doctor's office. She watched Kevin go first and clapped and clapped for him. She was so excited to follow suit, but stranger danger got the best of her. And as soon as the doctor touched her the tears started flowing. Poor peanut had to have three shots too. She is also as healthy as can be. She took a huge growth spurt. She is now 20 lbs even putting her in the 30%. Shocked are we! She is 75% tall. (Her papers are in the same place as Kevin's!)

It was a sad doctor visit as it will probably be our last. We have L.O.V.E.D our nurse Marcia and our Doctor Jain. They will always hold a special little spot in our heart.

Last night our awesome neighbors threw a going away/Christmas party for us. They invited all the peeps in our circle along with two other families outside of the circle that we are close friends with. It was so much fun and so thoughtful. We had a great time and it was lovely talking with all of our super d duper awesome neighbors. They too will always hold a special place in our heart. I honestly feel like the Grinch. My heart has literally tripled in size. I'm grateful it can do that because we sure do love so many people here in Wisconsin and I'm sure we will grow to love so many people in New Hampshire.

Tonight was also our ward party. Much to Kevin's delight and Julia's worst nightmare,  Santa showed up! Kevin was one of the first in line and boy oh boy was he excited. When he came down to talk to me he said, "Oh good Mom, I don't even need to send him a letter now!" Julia tried, twice, to go sit on his lap but she was way to nervous. Lacey was super excited to go and see him, or maybe super excited to walk on the stage and she too chickened out so we just did a walk by!

Oh and one more piece of super important news. Yesterday morning before Kevin and Lacey's doctor appointments guess who started WALKING! That's right people. We have a little walker on our hands and I could NOT be happier!

We are blessed and we know it.
