Lacey Baby

My Lacey Baby is growing up. It is hard to accept. I love the stage she is in. She has dropped the Maaaa for "Mommy" and the Daaaaaeeeeee for "Daddy." Which is both adorable and oh so sad. She has shortened please and thank you to "please do." Two birds, one stone! She is finally walking 90% of the time. She however refuses to walk if she is with someone unfamiliar to her. Such as hair appointments and even Aunt Ashlynn when she first got here this week. If you stick around and she warms up, you may be privileged to watch her toddle to and fro. She has gone from 6 teeth to 7. She has one random molar in the very back. The order her teeth have come in has been very unique. She started with her top side teeth on both sides, Then her two bottom teeth, thankfully the fang look only lasted for about a month before her two front teeth appeared and now a molar. Whateves. She loves chips. Danger Right? Well, when you have an older brother and sister who think you walk on water, you get whatever you want WHEN you want it. Lacey calls every kind of food an apple. And although she does love apples, she will only eat so many before asking for another apple! She loves brushing her teeth. She has a crazy blanket addiction she calls her bebe. Along with the blanket comes the "bobble." Kevin and Julia both lost their bottle on their first birthday. At Lacey's 15 month appointment I was reminded that losing the bottle 3 months ago would have been wise. But....I don't want too. I made my other babies grow up too fast. I wished for them to be bigger to play with me, and now I'd give anything to rock them in my arms with a bottle in their mouth. Lacey is obsessed with BABIES. Both real and fake. She LOVES them. If there is one near, you can bet your last dollar that she is over cooing, AKA poking them, patting them, talking to them, and adjusting their binky. Today Ashlynn went home and when Lacey woke up she went all through the house calling for the "Baby." Lacey is still my dream sleeper. Going to bed easy and waking up very pleasant. When tired, she is known for asking for a bobble and crawling towards her room. As with each of my kids, I could go on for hours. I love Lacey Baby to pieces. It's hard to believe it has been 17 whole months since this black haired beauty came flying into our lives, and I can't wait to see what the now, blonde haired, blue eyed babe has in store for us. I am blessed and I know it!

Up next... My Kevin Boy!
