Round 2

We are sitting in the hospital listening to little Elena's heart beating on the monitor and soon we will watch her in an ultra sound. I'm kind of excited. We have some fabulous people in our branch watching our kids. I felt awful dropping the kids off. We had a fun filled day yesterday with the same family and the kids didn't get to sleep until almost 10 last night. Kevin and Julia were exhausted although thrilled to be back and Lacey knew something was up the second we walked in the door and went crazy. Poor babies. The worst part for me is that we have to take Lacey back in the morning. Her little world is upside down for sure!

Our local library had their yearly egg hunt. Four and under stay inside and hunt for their eggs in a huge pile of shredded paper. Lacey had zero interest and Julia enjoyed it as much as she enjoys being sung the Happy birthday song. Once she almost got in the paper and then decided she really would rather not. Six eggs ended up at our feet and she was completely content with that. Kevin was with the 5-7 year olds out side around the building. He gave some of his eggs to someone that didn't get any so he only had 5 or so. I'm proud of that boy. The kids all won some really cute stuffed animals. It was a fun little outing.

The amino is finished. A super hyperactive baby made it a little difficult resulting in a very numb stomach because they had to keep changing injection sites. The Doctor, who departed by telling us a very inappropriate although funny joke about Harley's, said that the fluid looked good and to plan on being here in the morning. He sent it off to the lab and will call to confirm tonight.

There is still more catching up to do! Maybe once I get the floors mopped, that's the last item of business before this baby can come.
