Hitting up the park

Cody was off to work bright and early this morning. We had to run to the post office first thing so we were at the park by 9 am. It was bright and sunny and the kids had a great time. The only fall back was that there was NO shade. After playing for a few hours we went home to have lunch and enjoy an ice cream cone on the front deck. Lacey had an allergic reaction to sun block last week and since her poor face and arms are still recovering we had to put her in long sleeves. The shirt is paper thin, but I still feel awful when I kiss on her little cheeks. It was hot today. Mid 80s. I don't do heat. The kids had fun dumping water on each other and running through our crazy sprinkler and since we had a really good behavior day, we went into town for McDonalds for dinner. They were on silly pills while we were there and dinner was full of laughter. As always we had to remind Julia to use her inside voice. (She doesn't have one. She is stuck on one volume and that volume is LOUD! Good thing most people find her to be adorable.)

Elena's little body has finally adjusted to formula and the long nights are getting better. She doesn't
Seem to be having such a hard time digesting it and so the screaming has also decreased greatly. Thank Heavens.

On a side note....The Sandlot.... Kids movie? Yes? No? Well, I remember watching it when we were little. Cody bought it out of the $5 bin a few weeks ago and the kids have been begging to watch it, so I put it in while I did a few things on the computer and sent some cards. The next thing I hear is Kevin yell, "oh Sh!t!" I went in and watched for a few minutes and realized, so not age appropriate. Oops!

We are so blessed to have these beauties and we know it!
