11-ELEVEN

This little baby of mine is Eleven stinking months old (well, she was 20 days ago!) She is changing every single day. She gets more fun every day, too. We all eat, sleep, and breath Elena. She's always the center of everyone's attention. The kids love her and eat up everything she does with pure delight and an abundance of excitement. 

During Elena's 11th month on this earth she has...

-started standing up without any support

-attempted to take a few steps (scared the day lights out of her)

-loves colored foods always leaving white things for last, i.e. Cheese, bread, puffs, cauliflower. Just like Lacey did.

-a total of six teeth, two on bottom and four on top

-endured a nasty cold with several breathing treatments

-fallen down the stairs and mastered crawling up

-grown to love the shower and loves playing on the shower floor while her big siblings shower

-mastered clearing any shelf, emptying any box, or unfolding an entire laundry basket of laundry in record time.

-found that banging on the screens of the window makes an enjoyable sound

-learned the fun of dropping her least favorite foods like sweet peppers, and broccoli over the edge of her tray

-said her first word, "cheese!" As in picture time, not a slice.

-started napping once a day and not for very long. 

-decided she needs to be knee deep in whatever is going on. If everyone has markers, she needs some, if everyone is playing a game, she needs a card or a game piece.

-started to giggle and laugh at more things, I can see her personality emerging by the second and I love it!!!

Elena Joy, I love you to heaven and back. I love---listening to you talk, watching you explore your surroundings, and try new things. You fill my heart completely. I am blessed and I know it!
