Toothless

Kevin was riding home from school with our neighbors and when the topic of loose teeth came up, Kevin sadly admitted he had yet to have one. Not even four hours later he was bouncing off the walls with pure joy. His first tooth was finally loose!!! I was a bit disappointed when he opened his mouth to reveal the adult tooth was already up right behind the baby tooth. :( the dentist told us at his 2 year old appointment to start saving our money for braces. He wasn't kidding. After several failed attempts to slam the door with the string tied to it (we just couldn't get a good angle) Kevin swallowed his tooth during lunch at school! Eeek!!! He was really concerned about weather or not the tooth fairy would come when one of his friends said, "don't worry, the tooth fairy will go in your belly and get your tooth!" Kevin wrote a letter, just in case there was any confusion. "Hey tooth fairy, how is your  motorcycle? I have something to tell you. My tooth got swallowed. From Kevin" thankfully the tooth fairy caught wind of the letter and made an appearance. We had one happy boy!
