I've been wondering where my feisty little two year old Julia went. I can't believe she is now closer to five than four and although she is still feisty, she has turned into the best little girl ever. She is my best helper ever. She has a knack with her little sisters and can convince Lacey to do things no one else can. She plays with them and let's them play with her. She is loves on them, she helps dress them, brush their teeth, feed them, reads to them, and is just oh, so patient with them. I am so blessed to have her. She definitely lightens my load and I'm so grateful to have her. Today we were having root beer floats for dinner but Lacey had refused to eat. Julia took it upon herself to get Lacey to eat so we could enjoy dessert together. I was in rocking Elena when I heard this conversation...
Lacey, "I don't like it."
Julia in her loving Mommy voice, "just eat it so you can have dessert."
L- but I don't want to.
J- would you like me to feed you? Ok, open up big. And Julia preceded to feed her her dinner. I sat in Elena's room and I swear to you, my heart grew three sizes!! I'm a blessed Mama and I know it. Thanks Julia Girl for being my big girl. I love you to heaven and back!
