Tball Started the beginning of May. Sadly we've had as many rained out days as practuces, but Kevin loves it. He's quite the batter. Seconds after snapping this picture, the ball slammed right into the fence where my phone had been. Yipes!!!
We've had a lot of long days and short nights. Lacey was waiting for me to come read to her at about 6:30 the other night, but she was fast asleep when I walked in.
We've made some great friends. Emma named her caterpillar, Miley Cyrus and Julia named hers, Bagulia.
We've put in our time at dance class. It got pretty rocky there at the end, but we perservered and made it to dress rehearsal. The real deal is tomorrow afternoon. I may or may not have cried through dress rehearsal. Julia did so great and I was so happy that I get to be her Mom.
Elena had her first hair cut, I couldn't handle the long scragglies in the back anymore. It definitely made her look more grown up.
Preschool graduation was so much fun. These cute kids sang and danced and it was Oh so cute! We are sad to leave our awesome teachers, but so glad Lacey gets them next year. This week there were five bonus days of preschool due to all of our snow days this year. Julia fell asleep with her head on the desk at school today. I'm a bit worried full day preschool is going to take some serious adjusting to!
I got out of the shower to find Elena had torn open one of the pillows off of the couch and was rubbing the batting on her face. Not too long after this picture was taken I discovered she had tried to eat some and I then spent the next hour stuffing her with gold fish crackers, bread, and water in an attempt to push it down. Eww!
Last Friday Kevin had "Fancy Friday" at school and got to dress in his fanciest, have a tea party, and practice his best manners all day. It was a real serious deal, and if he had owned a tux, he would have worn it!
We've taken complete advantage of every semi warm day we have had by soaking it up at the beach. In an attempt to keep Elena awake on the way home I gave her a granola bar. She decided to wear it instead of eat it. I think she wears it well.
We came home from our vacation to see that all of the trees had filled in. I could sit on my deck and look at this all day long! It makes my heart happy!
We are blessed!
