The last days of May I hiked Mt. Major with the youth in our ward. It was a beautiful day for a beautiful hike. The next Monday I started physical therapy for my knee that I hurt while we were in Rhoade Island. (Barely making it down the mountain made me decide it was time to get it taken care of. It is believed that my knee was not tracking correctly, so it slides out of track causing all sorts of pain.)
By the beginning of June, Julia had had enough of school. I finally gave up and only sent her on days she was up and going and happy about it. I really think she was way too bored. Her and Lacey played so well on so many of the days that I wasn't mad about it either. One of the days we colored their hair and took fun pictures of them doing tricks on the trampoline.
I also got to go on a field trip with Kevin. This was a super special day as it's hard to find something to do with the other kids to be able to go on field trips with Kevin and Julia. We had so much fun. We went exploring at the Ocean. We found an eel of some sort, several sea crabs, and other fun random sea creatures. Kevin was like a mountain goat scaling the rocky terrain, the other two boys in our group were always calling for him to wait up! It gave me so many flash backs to trying to keep up with my brother, J.D., anywhere we went when we were younger.
June brought out the creativity in Lacey. Anytime we left the house she was dressed in her own unique style, bringing lots of admiring comments at school pick up! Lacey is way too cute and way to entertaining. I laugh with her all day long!!!
We also spent June working our tail ends off on our yard. That will be a post in and of itself, as we have done soo much work!!
Elena wrapped up potty training this month (YAY!) and started changing her clothes 8 million times a day and came down with a major swim suit addiction.
