May

May started off special. We were able to celebrate our favorite person on the planet, my main man,
C-Dawg. It is hard to put into words just how proud we are of him and all of his hard work. This Masters Degree was a long time coming. And... I'm not going to lie, if I had to hear, "I can't, I have to do homework!" One more time, I may have run away. I'm SOOO SOO SOOO happy he is done with late nights of studying and putting a damper on all of our family fun.
We were so excited that Cody's parents came to spend a few days with us to attend his graduation. We were sure to fill every single second of their time. Kevin and Julia were more than happy to skip a day of school for a day of Grandparents.

On Mother's Day we found a free trampoline and aside from almost amputating my pinky toe, it has been the best addition to our home. My kids (and all the neighbor kids) have spent hours and hours and hours jumping. Cody and I have even put the kids to bed and gone out and enjoyed our own jump sessions. Not going to lie, my bladder is no good after having had four kids, but it's worth a good laugh.

Lacey also had her preschool grand lunch. She was beyond shy and had to be held the whole time. At the end, as not to draw attention to herself, she slid on her bum ALLLLLL the way across the stage to accept her certificate and then she was hand delivered to my arms. Nothing like making your parents proud! It was hilarious!!!

Laney baby's vocabulary is growing by the day and she loves to go swimming. One day on the way home from church she asked over and over, "Mom, I swim? Mom, I swim? Mom, I swim?" After several, "Not todays!" She ran right inside, grabbed the itty bitty swimming pool to the doll house sat in it and yelled, "MOOOOM! I SWIM!!!" She was so pleased with herself. She definitely keeps us laughing!
