7 Months of Pure Awesome-ness!!!

 

I count my blessings on a regular basis. I love having Kevin and Julia so close in age. Kevin is so good to Julia. He holds her to watch TV, pushes her on the swing, and most recently has taught her to go potty outside.

YIKES STRIPES! I’m not going to lie, when we are out playing I let Kevin go in the trees ALL THE TIME. But, Julia, that’s a completely different story. The 2nd time she came in today with wet pants I blew a gasket.  (On a side note, this was the 3rd incident in not so many days. And, watching this take place is FUNNY! Changing clothes 3 times and doing the laundry, when I have no DRYER might I add, and right when we are loading up to go to school. Not the ideal situation!)

Kevin and Julia have had more fun with boxes the last few weeks that I thought humanly possible. We finished painting the basement these last few days and they spent the majority of the time inside of this box.

It made the perfect spot to enjoy a little movie, lunch, and of course to play.

The 7 months of pure awesome-ness I was referring to is this little bug!

Can you see her? No, neither can I. This is how she prefers to sleep. In a sea of pink fluffy-ness, with her face covered and the top fluffy blanket in her mouth. Eww! Don’t judge, it works, and she sleeps like a baby!!!  She loves this sleeping arrangement so much that it is KILLER to get her to sleep anywhere else.

 

With my other kids each month I’d write a few things about them.  But, with Lacey, I just have one word to describer her.

At 7 months Lacey is- AWESOME.

 

I think I may have hurried away the baby stage of my older kids. I remember loving the baby stage with both of them, there just seems to be something different about this baby stage, maybe it’s because I know there aren’t many baby days left, either way, I am enjoying every second of it. That does include staying up four different nights from 1-5:00 AM cuddling her on the couch cause she didn’t feel good. We all eat her up and love her to pieces.

Daddy calls her Baby, but not just Baby, he kind of sings it. Kevin and Julia love playing with her. I love holding her, rocking her, and most of all I LOVE carrying her on my hip. As I mentioned before she is a little monkey and holds on so tight.

Lacey loves vegetables, could really do with out anything that has Turkey in it, likes feeding herself, is turning into a crummy nurse-r, she eats well if I can get it quite enough for her. She’s just ready to be apart of everything. EVERYTHING, she doesn’t stand for sitting in the car seat on the side lines, she wants to be in the meat of things.
