TWO MONTHS

What the heck dude! This baby just isn't slowing down. Elena Joy is now two months old. I can't even believe it. She has become so easy. Now that we are sleeping at night and she has adjusted to her formula, life is good. 

She is growing like a weed too. Her Dad was awfully proud of her Harley onsie. We went to work with Dad on this day and it was fun to show her and the other kids off at one of his dealerships. 

I had her in to the doctor last week because her belly button as yet to heal. She was 11 lbs. 2 oz.  It was determined that she has a cyst, maybe from scar tissue from having her button cauterized, we are going to try Neosporin for one more week when her two month appointment is scheduled, if it hasn't started to heal then we will meet with a surgeon to have it removed. Thankfully it has not become infected at all and has stayed clean and dry. We are praying that it will close on it's own.  

The big kids are such good helpers with Elena. They love loving on her, feeding her, checking on her, holding her, and doing everything she may need and sometimes stuff she does not even need. 

It sure has been fun having a sweet baby in our home again. I forget all the many things I love about each stage the kids are in. Today, my favorite thing is naps on the couch with a snoozing baby on my chest.
