Wednesday, July 24, was the reason for our trip to Idaho. It was a much anticipated day, and truly, When the day came my first thought was, "oh man, this means it is going to be over soon!" Cody's family has started a yearly family reunion, this being the first annual Gray Family Reunion. The location of choice was Island Park. We packed our sunglasses and swim suits, coolers full of drinks, and pockets full of treats and we loaded ourselves into a 15 passenger van and the fun began. Our trip started with a thrilling rendition of I met a Bear, lead by the one and only Logan Gray. And the fun did not end there. We went to old faithful and enjoyed soft serve ice cream. we had camp fires and cooked mini pies. We played pool and ping pong, farkle and I spy. We watched Tangled and ate snow cones. We lit fire works and ate homemade snow cones. We went golfing and shotgun shooting, fishing and boating. We painted fingers and toes and made cute flip flops. We floated the river and watched Tangled. We fished and sat in the hot tub. We watched Tangled and ate snow comes. We took naps and watched Tangled. We went to the play Beauty and the Beast and suffered through a night of no sleep due to two kids with the flu and another kid waking the entire cabin with her screams. We watched Tangled. We ate like kings and partied like Queens. We met The Princess and the Beast and ran into friends from High school. We laughed and talked. We watched tangled and ate snow cones. We enjoyed a rain storm from the deck and cracked open a piñata to find oodles of candy. We enjoyed sunsets and snuggles, panning for gold and fun surprises from Grandma and Grandpa. It was a very fun week full of laughter and memories. I feel very blessed to have married into such a wonderful family and I appreciate all the time spent to make this week such a success. We are blessed and we know it!
