Can you believe that my little princess is six years old? It blows my mind. She is the best there ever was. She feels with her whole heart and we love her for it.
She had a very special birthday this year. We kicked off the morning with birthday cake pancakes, because once your having pancakes for breakfast you're already eating a cup of sugar, so whats one more cup, right?!?! They were pretty yum!
Then we did her hairs and got her on the bus for her big end of year field trip to Storyland. How fun to spend your birthday with your entire grade at Storyland. Let's just say it did not disappoint. I'm not sure if she had a favorite part because we went so fast the whole day trying to soak up as much fun as humanly possible. The weather was perfect, the kids were SOOOO good, and we really had a wonderful time. We hurried home so she could open her presents. We shocked her socks off with an iPad mini. She was so excited and has taken such good care of it.
I'm really excited about this sixth year of life for Julia. She has really grown this last year. She is an amazing reader and we found out at the end of the school year that she has a super awesome teacher for next year. I think she's really going to love school and I'm happy for her. She is also the best big sister. She can see what her littles need and she just jumps right in and takes care of it. She can often get Lacey and Laney to do things that no one else can. (Like pick a pair of shoes and get them on, or get to the car and buckled.) She loves cooking in the kitchen, reading books, being laid by at night, painting fingernails, Boogie boarding at the beach, art projects in any form, and playing animal jam on the computer.
She makes my heart sing.
I love you, JuJu
