August
August was good to
us. We were sure to squeeze in every activity possible before school started.
-We enjoyed S’more
parties with friends
-Camping at Sebago
Lake
-Frog Catching
-Pond playing
-Bonfires and Hot
dogs
-A trip to the
waterfalls
-Lots and lots and
lots of days at the Lake
-A quick trip to Lake
Placid
-Mining for Gems
-High Falls Gorge
-Fun Spot
-A week without Dad
-Kevin and Julia both
learned to swim, life jacket free! My life has changed for the better. It was
so fun to sit on the edge of the pool and watch them swim laps back and
forth!!!! #happymom
-Lacey spent the
month obsessed with her swimming suit and a tight bun in her hair
-Elena finally kicked
all the crazy accidents and became a dependent pottier! (YAHOO!) and insisted
on wearing a swimming suit, EVERY S-I-N-G-L-E day!
-Lots of Bike Riding
-A ride on a Ferry
-Playing in the Snow
in Lake Placid
-Vacation Bible Study
-Dirt bike rides
-Lemonade Stand
-Sunset dinners at
the Lake
And sadly, we wrapped
it up by going back to school. All three kids love school and love their
teachers, so it’s hard to be too upset. But, the never-ending summer sun makes
it hard for me to send them, instead of taking them to soak up the last few
rays.
